The Sponsorship Scheme was set up as a way of funding food and veterinary treatment for cats which have extreme disabilities, infections or are very nervous. Such cats need to live permanently with their fosterers.
In return for a regular contribution, sponsors receive a photograph, a Certificate of Sponsorship and a twice- yearly letter giving details of the cat's progress.
If you would like to help lots of cats, you could sponsor one of our two sponsor pens. You will receive information about all of the cats who pass through them on their way to their new homes.
The sponsorship scheme is the next best thing to having your own cat and your help however small will help our work and the cat's recovery to a happier life.
If you would like to sponsor one of our cats or sponsor a pen, please complete the form below.
Meet the sponsor cats
Billy is about 5 years old. He has Kaliche virus and gets it quite severely at times. He has had to have all of teeth removed. He is still very small but he does love his food and treats.
Fluff came from a very violent family. He was initially very nervous and would hide at the slightest noise, but through perseverence, Fluff has finally gained enough confidence to sit next to people.
Homer & Millie came from a home where their owner had to go into a nursing home, so they came to Cats Protection. These elderly cats now live with one of our fosterers. They are very playful, have healthy appetites and love their treats.
May is a new Sponsor cat who was rescued. Poor May had a pellett in her head, needed to have all her teeth removed and, where she'd had bad ears, she now has half an ear on one side.
